Drivers are facing chaos on the roads this weekend with works taking place on two major motorways and a serious crash closing another.
Those heading towards Manchester, Liverpool Leeds and Hull on the M62 should expect congestion as Network Rail will finish work on Casteleton Bridge between junction 19 and 20 in Rochdale.
There is also a carriageway closed between Junctions 29 (Lofthouse) and 30 (Rothwell) following a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian overnight.
Elsewhere, another crash between a lorry and a car has led to the M1 being closed southbound in Nottinghamshire. The closure is set to last until midday, with diversions in place.
In London, TfL has announced three further part-closures of the Blackwall Tunnel.
The first of those will take place tonight, beginning at 11pm and lasting to 5am on Monday, with further closures of the southbound tunnel set for October 11 and 18.
