Police have launched an urgent hunt for three children who disappeared after a day out at Thorpe Park.

The young trio, Khandi, 14, Amelia, 9, and Malik, 7, were reported missing last night after a day out at the theme park in Chertsey, Surrey.

Police say the trio may have travelled to London after they were last seen walking away from the park towards Staines town centre at around 3.17pm.

The children are believed to have been spotted on CCTV 1.6 miles away in a Chertsey florist called the House of Flowers at 3.50pm, before heading towards the capital.

A CCTV image from the shop appears to show the older girl, wearing a white tank top, grey leggings and black sliders, as she walks in, phone in hand. She has black-rimmed glasses and wears her hear in a head band.

She is followed by the second, younger girl, wearing a while, long sleeved t-shirt and her blonde hair in a ponytail. The two youngest children, Amelia and Malik, are related.

‘They were rushing a bit. The kids were just wondering around the shop, not distressed at all,’ Samantha Williams, from the florist, told the BBC.
