Uber for Business is offering business travellers who are also members of British Airways’ Executive Club loyalty programme the ability to earn double Avios reward points when they take a trip in the UK.
The ride-hailing company’s business travel management platform is offering two Avios reward points for every £1 spent through business profiles linked to company accounts. To claim double points, business travellers will be required to link their Uber for Business and British Airways Executive Club accounts in the Uber app, the company said.
Jenna Brown, head of Uber for Business UK, said: “We are constantly looking for ways to improve experiences for people when they are taking trips for work. With double Avios we feel we’ve identified another way to reward business travellers and make their journeys that bit more enjoyable.”
The Avios reward currency is also used by the respective loyalty programmes of Qatar Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus.
