A round blue object was spotted at Manchester Airport this week, sparking speculation about it being an unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) or a UFO. While authorities are yet to issue a formal statement about the sighting, several social media users posted videos of the object.
Reacting to the videos one person tweeted that a spherical object was spotted from inside the cockpit of a plane. They added that it took off when a security vehicle approached.
“Manchester Airport UAP/ UFO sighting from inside the cockpit. A spherical UAP of some kind, maybe a drone, seems to have also landed at Manchester Airport & took off when a security vehicle approached it. Strange things going on in the skies above the UK recently,” the post on X, platform formerly known as Twitter, read.
“Spoke to @captainbiggalow & got photos they received from their colleges at Manchester airport. No metadata could be recovered, ELA good. Timeline clarified, object seen on ground (1) (2), reported to tower, ops vehicle investigates (3), orb shoots up and video taken (4),” another one added.
“The activity has been ramping up, I believe we are going to see a lot more of these sightings,” a third one said on the Elon Musk-led platform.
This comes after reports revealed that the UK had witnessed nearly 400 unexplained encounters throughout 2023 the latest one coming in Leicester last month when ‘mysterious’ green lights were reported.
