A recent YouGov poll has ranked the top 10 cities in the UK, with surprising results.

From coastal urban areas to global metropolises, it’s no surprise that 38.7 million inbound visits are projected to have visited by the end of the year.

Based on 2,510 interviews conducted in Q2 2024, the poll highlights the nation’s favorite cities, rated by popularity. Despite London’s strong performance, it didn’t rank first, as another historically rich city snagged the top spot.

10. Bristol

Located in the South West, Bristol kicks off the top 10 with a 52 percent approval rating, praised for its vibrant arts scene and cultural heritage.

Known for its iconic suspension bridge and the historic Harbourside, the city is a hub for creative industries, music, and street art.

Bristol’s blend of historic charm and modern innovation continues to attract both tourists and residents alike.
