Spring is here and as the weather warms up many Brits will be heading to the coast to soak up any sun. The UK is home to long stretches of stunning coastline and thousands of beaches, so picking where to explore first is no easy feat.
A new rundown has revealed ten of the best beaches in the country to visit – with two of them within easy striking distance of each other with just a 30 minute drive between them.
Holkham Beach and Brancaster Beach – both in Norfolk – took second and third place respectively on the list compiled by UK holiday provider, Parkdean Resorts.
To put together the list researchers analysed the average temperature, number of rainy days and daylight hours of beaches across the UK.
Below we unveil the full list as well as a review from someone who has visited the beach taken from Tripadvisor.
