In a list created by food guide publication, La Liste, the world’s 1000 best restaurants were named seeing the likes of businesses in Singapore, France, Denmark and the UK named.
La Liste ranks the best of the best by collecting thousands of publications, guidebooks, online reviews and more.
The publication self-describes itself as offering the “world’s best restaurant and hotel selection at your fingertips wherever you go.”
Among the thousand restaurants named the world’s best, some UK spots made the list, with one ‘laid back’ London restaurant.

The London restaurant was named among the world’s best
Core by Clare Smyth was featured in La Liste’s list, with a score of 97.50, making it the highest-ranked restaurant in London.
Clare Smyth MBE is the first British female chef to run a restaurant with three Michelin stars and previously worked with Gordon Ramsay at Chef Parton.
The “elegant fine-dining” restaurant serves up natural and sustainable food as they share: “We craft exquisite dishes using the best British produce from dedicated farmers and food producers.”
Core by Clare Smyth adds that every meal is a “celebration of British ingredients” with menu items including Isle of Harris scallop tartare, ‘Lamb carrot’, Pear and verbena and Rhug Estate venison.
On the online review site Tripadvisor, Core by Clare Smyth has a rating of 5/5 from more than 1,000 reviews.
