The world’s top 10 cities in 2024 have been named – and London is nowhere to be seen.
Euromonitor International has released its annual index, which shows the cities that lead in terms of tourism, economic performance, and sustainability.
They report that tourism demand continues to rise as global international arrivals jumped by 19 percent in 2024.
For the fourth consecutive year, Paris, France, has topped the overall rankings.
While London missed out, five other European cities made the top 10.
Bangkok, Thailand, remains the most visited city in the world, with 32million arrivals in 2024.
Europe performed especially well in the rankings, with nine cities making it to the top 20 rankings.
In terms of business performance, Singapore came out on top.
But by 2030, US, Turkey and China are expected to be the destinations that see the biggest increase in international arrivals.
