Tequila business Cincoro has secured a distributor to sell its namesake range of spirits in the UK.

Mangrove Global has taken on the Cincoro brand, which was launched in 2019 by five NBA owners.

A range of Cincoro Tequilas is available via Amazon’s UK site and the business is nearing a listing with local pure-play online grocer Ocado.

The line-up comprises a blanco with a recommended retail price of £90 ($118.90), a reposado with an RRP of £120 and an añejo at £150.

Quentin Job, the MD for Cincoro’s international business, said, “Mangrove Global is a leader in super-premium spirits in the UK market and we’re thrilled to partner with them to bring Cincoro’s smooth and delicious Tequila to discerning British drinkers.”

Cincoro was launched five years ago by Jeanie Buss, co-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Wes Edens, who co-owns the Milwaukee Bucks, Emilia Fazzalari and Wyc Grousbeck – co-owners of the Boston Celtics – and Michael Jordan, the NBA legend who owns a minority stake in the Charlotte Hornets team.
