Sunday’s football programme in the UK is headed by the final chapter in the long-running Premier League title race. Manchester City need a home win over West Ham to clinch a fourth successive championship success, but otherwise Arsenal can pounce if they beat Everton away.

We’ve looked elsewhere in the Premier League for two of our three best football bets for Sunday, along with a selection for the League Two play-off final between Crewe and Crawley at Wembley.

Bet of the Day

Crystal Palace to beat Aston Villa – 4/5

The prices for this match might have been reversed had it been played a few months ago, but Crystal Palace are finishing the campaign in red-hot form and deserve to be favourites.

Aston Villa are still some way above Palace and looking forward to Champions League football next season, but with their European goal achieved and this year’s Europa Conference League run having ended in disappointing fashion 10 days ago, there’s little for Villa to fight for in their final league fixture.

Palace are buzzing under impressive manager Oliver Glasner and still have a chance to finish in the top half of the Premier League as they start the final day two points behind 10th-placed Brighton and Bournemouth in 11th.

They have picked up 16 points of a possible 18 from their last six games, beating Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle, Manchester United and Wolves.

The Eagles have won their last three outings at Selhurst Park by at least two goals and won 3-1 at Wolves last time out as they extended their excellent late run.

Villa raised their spirits when rallying to draw 3-3 at home to Liverpool on Monday but that extended their winless run to five games at the end of a long and tiring season.

Special of the day

BetBuilder – Crawley to win, over 2.5 goals, Daniele Orsi-Dadomo to score v Crewe 19/5

Crewe and Crawley finished sixth and seventh in League Two this season, but won their play-off semi-finals and now meet at Wembley to contest a place in League One.

Crawley were really impressive in their semi-final, swatting aside fourth-placed MK Dons 8-1 on aggregate, and the Sussex side could prove too slick for Crewe.

An entertaining game is likely with 10 of Crawley’s last 14 matches having produced three or more goals and over 2.5 goals in the final looks a solid leg to add to our BetBuilder.

Complete the bet with Daniele Orsi-Dadomo to score at any time for the Red Devils. The striker bagged 22 goals in League Two this season and has five in his last five appearances after his semi-final hat-trick.

Longshot of the day

Dejan Kulusevski first goalscorer for Tottenham v Sheffield United – 8/1

Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski gave Manchester City fans a fright when he twice went close to scoring in Tuesday’s critical Premier League match.

He was denied on that occasion by the Citizens’ substitute goalkeeper Stefan Ortega but showed he is an attacking threat for Spurs and looks a value bet to open the scoring against last-placed Sheffield United as the Blades bow out of the Premier League.

The Swedish winger had seven goal attempts in the teams’ first meeting of the season in September and scored the winning goal in that match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
