Bet of the Day
Over 2.5 goals in AGF vs Midtjylland at 9/10
The Danish Superliga returns on Friday night as champions Midtjylland head to an AGF side that finished fifth last term.
The hosts had a high-scoring end to the previous campaign, with over 2.5 goals landing in seven of their final eight games, including a 2-1 loss to Midtjylland. The champions saw at least three goals scored in 10 of their final 11 league games of last season and more goals should be on the way in their opener.
The visitors saw over 2.5 goals land in 75% of their away trips last term and with AGF showing their threat going forward, back over 2.5 goals at the boosted price of 9/10.
Longshot of the day
Bodo/Glimt to win 2-1 vs Odd at 17/2
Bodo/Glimt lead the way in Norway’s Eliteserien and they can continue their title charge when they host second-bottom Odd on Friday.
However, the league leaders may not have everything their own way, as they’ve managed just one clean-sheet across their last seven matches.
Both teams have scored in Odd’s last five games and the visitors have lost 2-1 in consecutive matches. They head to a Bodo/Glimt side who have won by a single goal in half of their home victories this season.
The hosts have scored 2.14 goals per home match this term, so back them to do enough to claim a narrow victory. A 2-1 win for Bodo/Glimt stands out at 17/2.
Special of the day
Sparta Prague to win & BTTS vs Pardubice at 6/4
Sparta Prague begin their Czech title defence with a home clash against Pardubice on Friday evening after the visitors made a late dash to safety last term. They won four of their final five games to avoid the drop, but there’s a tougher test to come against the champions.
Sparta Prague have been warming up with an eye on their Champions League qualifiers to come and they’ve scored 10 times across four pre-season games. They may well need another high-scoring display, with both teams scoring in five of their final six home league games last season.
For their struggles last term, Pardubice scored in 71% of their away games, so back them to net as Sparta Prague make a winning start.
