Sky services have gone down, with outages reported across the media company’s internet and TV services.

More than 110 people have reported issues, according to DownDetector, a website that tracks user reports of internet disruptions.

About 81% of issues are about Sky Broadband, with 12% for satellite TV services and 7% for the Sky website.

‘Sorry, we’re having some trouble at the moment. We’re working hard to get everything back to normal, but if you need to get in touch, please check the below,’ the website says.

Some webpages on the Sky website – including what to do when Sky Broadband is down – display an error message reading: Apologies – we’re currently updating our systems. Please come back earlier.’

Dozens of disruptions have been reported since at least midday yesterday, with outages skyrocketing from 6am today.

Sky is the second largest broadband provider in the UK, with more than 6.7 million customers in the UK and Ireland.

Sky Group has been approached for comment.
