The awards are run by responsible business network Business in the Community (BITCNI) in partnership with key sponsor Henry Brothers, and reward and recognise businesses large and small and from every sector in Northern Ireland on their exceptional corporate responsibility action.
The Responsible Business Awards take place in partnership with key sponsor Henry Brothers, event partner JP Corry, and in association with Ulster Business, U105 and Lanyon Communications.
The awards are free to enter, businesses can enter as many categories as they like, and winners will be announced at the Awards gala event on September 5 at ICC Belfast.
Kieran Harding, managing director, Business in the Community said: “We had a record-breaking number of entries in 2024 and the standard just keeps getting higher year-on-year, it’s a very competitive process.
“Businesses in Northern Ireland are stepping up for their people, the planet and the places where they operate and it’s wonderful to be able to recognise this through the Awards. All of the Finalists should be really proud they made it to this stage of our robust judging process.”
The finalists will attend judging panels held at Innovation Factory, Springfield Road in Belfast this month, where they’ll bring their entry to life by presenting to a panel of three expert judges.
The awards in 2024 are in partnership with key sponsor Henry Brothers, event partner JP Corry and in association with media partners Ulster Business and U105, and communications partner Lanyon Communications.
The 13 awards categories cover a range of themes including diversity, wellbeing, climate, technology, partnerships, and community impact. An individual will be recognised as the 2024 Responsible Business Ambassador and a top prize is awarded to the 2024 NI Responsible Company of the Year.
Some of those shortlisted include Eakin Healthcare, Metal Technology Ltd, Version 1, Vyta, and Zing Group, in the Ones to Watch category.
