‘Severe weather’ has disrupted commuter’s journeys from Glasgow Queen Street and is set to last for most of the day.

National Rail confirmed a speed restriction on the tracks is in place between the major station in Scotland and Mallaig/Oban.

It comes as heavy rain hits the Scotland, with officials warning delays and timetable revisions are expected to last until 2pm.


Delays on London Overground line

Reported signal issues on the London Overground is causing delays on the line to and from Stratford.

National Rail said disruption is expected to last until 8.30am.

Severe delays at Glasgow Queen Street

Heavy rain has caused delays between Glasgow Queen Street and Oban / Mallaig.

Disruption is expected to last until 2pm, with train services set to be delays or revised.
