– Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, and Congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde were among those present at the cremation.
– The last rites were performed in accordance with Parsi traditions, as confirmed by a priest at the crematorium. After the funeral, three more days of rituals will be observed at Ratan Tata’s bungalow in Colaba, south Mumbai.
– Ratan Tata passed away on Wednesday night at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at the age of 86. The chief minister’s office has also declared a one-day mourning period in light of Ratan Tata’s death, with no state celebrations scheduled for today.
