Liverpool property management firm, Urban Evolution, is set to expand its UK operations by 35% in 2025, representing an investment of £1.5m in the business.
With five key business divisions rolled into one – Facilities Management, Lettings and Management, Maintenance, Cleaning, and Sales – the company is bolstering its footprint across the UK and solidifying its position as a market leader in the property management sector.
Currently managing close to 10,000 units across block and lettings, Urban Evolution operates across major cities in the UK, including Luton, Sheffield, Nottingham, Newcastle, and its headquarters in Liverpool.
The company currently employs more than 100 staff. However, the expansion plan will see the team grow to 140, with the company also extending its reach and introducing new services in additional locations.
Michael Shields, Director of Facilities Management at Urban Evolution, said: “Our growth plans are bold, but they reflect the demand we’re seeing in the market for a more integrated, customer-focused approach to property management.
“By expanding our presence by 35% in 2025, we’re setting out to become the number one property management company in the region. We’re not just about increasing our footprint, we want to continue improving the quality of service we provide to our clients, and most importantly, the satisfaction of the residents we manage properties for.”
Urban Evolution said a notable example of its offering is its recent success at Alexandra Tower, in Liverpool’s Princes Dock.
In April last year the company took over management of the building, which had been plagued with issues including legal disputes with residents and severe disrepair.
The external cladding, which has never had a preventative maintenance plan since the building’s construction, posed significant safety concerns, including the risk of glass panels spontaneously shattering.
In a swift and decisive response, Urban Evolution engaged specialist surveyors to carry out a full assessment of the building’s structure, including the cladding. Engineers abseiled down each elevation of the tower to check all connections and joints.
Since Urban Evolution’s involvement, all legal actions have been halted, and many long standing issues have been resolved with a project team appointed to undertake further extensive repair works this summer and many residents have expressed their satisfaction with the progress made.
Shields added: “The transformation at Alexandra Tower has been remarkable.
“When we took on the project, the building was in a state of disrepair, and residents were understandably frustrated. But through swift action, transparent communication, and a commitment to resolving the issues, we’ve been able to make substantial progress.
“Our work there has not only improved the building’s condition but has also restored trust with the residents, who are now regularly praising the improvements we’ve made.”
