Manchester’s drinks scene is already world-class. Schofield’s Bar was recently ranked the UK’s best bar, Sexy Fish was named one of the finest on the globe and other special mentions have gone to Manny institutions Blinker, Speak in Code and Project Halycon. Suffice to say, the city has plenty of outstanding, innovative tipple to choose from. Still, there’s always room for one more cocktail connoisseur.

Later this month, Spanish drinks specialist Salmon Guru Madrid is travelling to Manchester. Ranked number 16 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list, the brand will be taking over Finders Keepers in Ancoats on Sunday, August 25.

The collaboration will be Salmon Guru’s first UK residency outside of London. It’ll bring with it experimental mixology and bold flavours such as the tropical vieux carre, a combination of Highland Park, cognac, red vermouth, mango and hops or the salmon sherbet made up of raw gin, Pimms, pomengranate juice, celery bitters and lemon sherbet.

If you’re keen to experience the bar’s award-winning creations, you can book a table at Finders Keepers for two hours with a £10 deposit per person. Cheers!

Time Out in Manchester

Checking out Salmon Guru in Manchester? Might as well make a day of it. Here are the best things to do in the city, where to go for some great grub, and the finest bars and clubs to keep your night going into the early hours.
