What a comeback from Tom Pidcock!
Inside the last few metres, he overtook his rival from France, Victor Koretzky. It was a brilliant move. Pidcock went left and he just made up the ground and he took him on the inside.
Before you knew it, we were on the home straight and Pidcock crossed the line for the gold medal.
The most dramatic gold that we might see for Britain over the course of these games. Pidcock retains his gold.
That was amazing! He has won it in hugely dramatic circumstances. an audacious manoeuvre almost at the final corner.
