Nick Hatfield to head Sanlorenzo Yachts UK – SuperyachtNews

Nick Hatfield is set to take on the role of Managing Director at Sanlorenzo Yachts UK at the beginning of next year following an internal promotion. As part of the Ancasta Group, Hatfield previously operated within the group as Sales Manager, but has now secured the position at the head of the brokerage having fostered considerable growth for the firm during his four-year tenure.

“Over the last few years, we have made significant inroads in bringing this exclusive Italian yacht brand to the UK and Ireland market, expanding our award-winning team in both the sales and aftersales departments to support our growing base of distinguished clientele,” says Hatfield.

“This expansion will continue as we seek new sales managers to strengthen the team further, as well as establish a permanent presence in London.”

According to Nick Griffith, Managing Director of the Ancasta Group, Hatfield led the introduction of the Sanlorenzo brand to the UK market in 2020, to serve the growing demand for made-to-measure yachts amongst UK-based clients.

“[Hatfield’s] 17 years of yacht sales experience, his in-depth knowledge of the Sanlorenzo brand and his understanding of the UK market make him the ideal person to take the reins and drive the business forward,” adds Griffith. “I am extremely confident that the business is in great hands and I look forward to seeing it grow as we strengthen our relationship with the iconic shipyard.”

Hatfield will officially take up his new position on 1 January 2025.
