This autumn, three new Newbie stores will open in the London region as the Kappahl Group brand continues to expand. Newbie’s plan to open more standalone stores in the European market includes this expansion.

With its initial introduction in the UK in 2017, Newbie now runs four outlets. The new locations will open in Guildford, a small town west of London, and Canary Wharf in Brent Cross, London.

Newbie is renowned for its timeless aesthetic that distinctly emphasises sustainability. The clothing is made with hand-drawn patterns, a gentle colour scheme, and an intended generation of wearers. Each collection is created using premium, eco-friendly materials; all wool is RWS-certified, and all cotton is organic. For kids ages 0 to 8, Newbie provides a full wardrobe, Newbie Woman apparel for adults, and lovely interior accents for kid’s rooms, such as fabrics and wallpaper.

All of the nations where Kappahl conducts business, including Norway, Finland, Poland, and Sweden, already have rookie stores. China, Japan, and the majority of European nations all offer the brand online. The UK locations are essential to Newbie’s strategy to increase the number of standalone stores it has and increase its market share in Europe.

“These new stores are important milestones in our growth journey, and we aim to focus primarily on further expansion in the London area while also enhancing our online business across the UK,” says Thomas Kusoffsky, Vice President of Newbie at Kappahl Group.

Heidi Pathiaki, UK Area Manager for Newbie, is excited to open three new stores in the UK and welcome even more customers into Newbie’s world, “We will also introduce our second-hand concept, PreLoved, in the new stores, where customers can trade in their used Newbie garments, helping extend the life of our clothes and ensuring they reach new wearers.”
