Global mid-market infrastructure manager CVC DIF is acquiring Medneo Group’s UK diagnostic imaging business for an undisclosed sum.

CVC DIF, which is investing via its CIF III fund, has agreed to acquire Medneo UK, the provider of MRI and CT scanners and imaging services to NHS Trusts and healthcare providers in the UK through its fleet of more than 20 mobile scanners.

Willem Jansonius, partner and head of CIF investments at CVC DIF, said: “We are delighted to have agreed to support the next stage of Medneo UK’s growth journey.

“Medneo UK has an excellent reputation for providing essential services within the UK healthcare system that improve patient outcomes.”

Andy Spellman, CEO of Medneo UK, said: “Myself and the whole Medneo UK team look forward to working in partnership with CVC DIF to continue to deliver outstanding services for our patients and customers.

Medneo Group is a provider of diagnostic imaging services in Germany and Switzerland. The company created its UK operations in 2018.
