They have looked at the European capitals to find which ones rank best when it comes to a break. The study looked at factors such as friendliness, safety and affordability.
VisaGuide.World found Lisbon came top thanks to its low-cost- friendliness of the city, safety and let’s forget that it has plenty of things to do.

Some of the top-rated things to do in the Portuguese capital according to TripAdvisor Oceanario de Lisboa, Alfama, Mosteriro dos Jeronimos, Praca do Comercio, Calouste Gulbenkian Museum and Torre de Belem just to name a few.
On average spending a week in the city it will cost you €385. However, the prices will most likely increase due to inflation and the fact that Lisbon is introducing a €4 tax per night spent.
One traveller described Lisbon as a “wonderful, ancient city” while another called it a “lively city” with “world-class beaches”.
Meanwhile, in second place was Amsterdam which has plenty of museums on offer including the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum.
Coming in third place was Prague which is the most budget-friendly place on the list thanks to its cheap bars and restaurants as well as tourist attractions.
