These works will help to deliver new retail, office and residential space in the heart of the town centre.
The steelwork has been erected in the courtyard area at Five Valleys and marks the start of this latest project at the town centre development which is scheduled for completion by summer 2025.
This latest programme of work at the centre will create new office and retail units in the space neighbouring Santander and Rough Hands Coffee joining the upper mall, accessed off King Street, with the main mall area.
Around 2,140sq. ft. of ground floor retail space will be delivered as well as first floor office accommodation of around 2,000sq. ft. which will be accessed from the upper floor of the Five Valleys car park.
The work will also open up space for executive town centre apartments.
The plans represent a further investment in excess of £1.5m – part of the phased £30m programme of works at the centre which has undergone major changes over the last six years.
