Apetito hiring senior product developer

Leading food producer Apetito is on the hunt for a new recruit to lead and support product development projects from ideation through to launch and manage them through its stage-gate development process.

You will join a development team of chefs, technologists and dietitians based in the Wiltshire-Trowbridge site.

Responsibilities will not only encompass new product development, but also the opportunity to proactively identify new opportunities and pitch these to the business teams. You will also organise and manage production trials and liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communications and optimise outcomes, alongside identifying and assisting in the delivery of cost-reduction opportunities whilst ensuring high quality is maintained.

Essential to this role is a proven track record in food product development, an ability to multitask and lead projects, as well as good presentation skills and an ability to collaborate.

Experience in frozen or chilled foods manufacturing and/or within prepared meals is desirable.
