It’s easy to make a decent burger. It’s nigh-impossible to make a perfect one.
Sweden-based burger connoisseurs Burgerdudes has tasted more burgers than you or I could even conceive of. B-dudes has travelled the length and breadth of the world and tried all kinds of burger varieties to find the best beef/bun combo out there. This week Burgerdudes shared its wisdom with the rest of us and revealed its 2024 list of the best burgers on the planet – and, excitingly, one of the top-ranked ones is in the UK.
As you can imagine, it’s extremely hard to make it onto Burgerdudes’ list. But one UK burger-maker has not only secured a spot, but found its way into the top ten. Burger & Beyond is officially one of the best burger specialists in the world, with a full five stars from the experts themselves.
Burgerdudes particularly recommends B&B’s Bacon Butter Burger and the Bougie Burger, both of which pair the chain’s signature dry-aged beef with loads of cheese and a selection of ‘exquisite toppings’.
Nearly a decade after Burger & Beyond’s humble beginnings as a stall in Camden Market, you can now find the brand’s heavenly buns at three different locations in London and one in Manchester, starting from £12 which is a bargain for world-class cuisine. They also offer a selection of top-notch sides like bone marrow gravy fries, buffalo wings, and mozzarella sticks, so you need to be ready for a full on feast.
You can book a reservation, or have a look at the menu, on the Burger & Beyond website here. A couple other British burger joints feature in the list including Lagom in London and Bread Meats Bread in Edinburgh – and you can check out the entire ranking here.

Burgerdudes may know burgers, but no one knows Britain’s food scene better than us. Here’s our list of our favourite restaurants in the country, the best designed pubs in the UK, and exactly where to go to get some banging fish and chips.
