The moment the Red Arrows performed a flypast over Niagara Falls has been captured in stunning photos.

The UK’s Royal Air Force aerobatic team, comprised of nine jets, put on a fine display over the iconic attraction in Canada.

Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls in Niagara Gorge, located on the border between Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the US.

At the start of the show, the British planes trailed a classic Avro Lancaster bomber, of which only two in the entire world are still in working order.

The nine jets got into formation to make the shape of a bomber plane from World War 2.

They were initially meant to perform the show last month but were unable to due to poor weather conditions.

The Red Arrows are doing a number of shows over a five-week tour of Canada to mark the centennial of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

This year also marks the Red Arrows’ 60th diamond display season.

The team will perform at Airshow London, Ontario, this weekend.
