A beauty spot has been dubbed the “best waterfall hike” in the UK, and people are raving about how stunning it is.

Sam Culley, also known as samrculley on TikTok, blogged about the hidden gem in a video as he was left in awe of how beautiful it is. The keen walker said it’s a must-place to visit if you love waterfalls.

The Four Falls Trail, in the Brecon Beacons, is an area you must check out if you want to experience a proper adventure in nature. He said the route begins at Cwm Porth car park where there’s also toilets, a little shop and a burger pod.

Sam noted there’s also an overflow car park nearby, which means there’s plenty of space to park. The cost is around £5 or £6 to park in either option, so it’s very affordable.

He said it’s a “nice, easy trail to follow” that’s also really well sign-posted. Even though it’s a popular trail, Sam said he can easily see why.

Sam confessed the trail homes “some of the best waterfalls he’s seen in the UK”. He admitted it’s not the easiest path to follow as it comprises of boardwalk, steps and slippery rocks, but he still enjoyed the hike.

In one of the waterfalls, he even went for a dip and felt like he was bathing in his “own little jacuzzi”. It’s an experience he won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

He also noted certain sign posts warn you if any areas are potentially dangerous, so it’s easy to navigate yourself around safely. There’s also one waterfall you can actually walk behind, which added to making the hike “spectacular”.

When it comes to the length of the journey, he said it’s about four or five miles long. Even though he admits it’s not an easy walk, he said it’s worth the effort to get to see so much of our country’s natural beauty.

The video has been liked more than 29,000 times since it’s been shared, and people were quick to comment too. They admitted it’s a “great” walk, but said it can also be pretty tiring.

One person said: “Thanks Sam. Did this walk today and had a dip.” Another wrote: “A fantastic walk… the steps back up from one of the falls nearly killed me.”

A third replied: “I did this last month, and it’s great. Really well sign-posted. Defo up there with one of my favourite walks.”

Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: “Beautiful place. We went up there in the summer last year. Absolutely stunning place.”
