A1 ADAS Solutions
A1 ADAS Solutions Group in Norwich provides specialist advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and vehicle diagnostic products and services, plus garage workshop equipment, to the automotive aftermarket.
Established in 2020, the family-run business employs 15 people and operates nationally under three brands. It is now recognised as a leading innovator of ADAS and diagnostic services in the sector.
The judges were impressed by the “innovation of the product” and how A1 ADAS appeals to a niche market.
They said the business has “superb potential for continued growth” and a “lean and efficient business model”.
Abode Construction
Abode Construction, headquartered in Long Stratton, is a main contractor for the residential, care and education sectors of the construction industry across Norfolk and Suffolk.
The business, which focuses on specific sub-sectors of the industry, values relationships ahead of turnover.
It offers a specialist, personal service to a small number of clients and supply chain members in order to build long-lasting relationships. The judges were impressed with the business’ “sound process in bringing in the next generation of skilled traders”, which they said “will only be a benefit to Norfolk and Suffolk in the future”.
They described Abode Construction as a “business Norfolk should be proud of”.
Azure Outdoor Living
Dereham-based Azure Outdoor Living specialises in luxury outdoor living solutions and bespoke glazing systems.
Its offers an extensive product range, from windows and doors to verandas and pergolas, along with specialised solutions for shading, spa and pool enclosures. Its services include detailed quotations, site surveys, product supply and installation. The business delivers complete solutions – from conceptual image renders to meticulously engineered structures.
The judges said that Azure Outdoor Living’s product innovation is a “real strength” and indicates an “admirable level of re-investment and confidence” in the business’ market and clients.
They said the business should be proud of its “fabulous garden constructions” and “great employee/contractor ethos”.
Norfolk Jar Kitchen
Norfolk Jar Kitchen is a confectionary based in Snettisham. It supplies hand-packaged products and homemade baking mixes to 81 stores across the UK.
Owner Charlotte Ward recognised a gap in the market for high-quality yet affordable treats and baking kits, especially for those with food allergies.
The business recently opened its first bricks-and-mortar shop on the Norfolk coast, and has welcomed two new members to its team. The judges said Norfolk Jar Kitchen represents “an incredible organic growth story”.
They praised its “fantastic relationships with other local businesses” and said the team’s mission to create affordable confectionary across the UK was “a great demonstration of inclusivity for families with food allergies”.
