Fawad Khan To Play UK-Based Chef In His Bollywood Comeback Opposite Vaani Kapoor
The talks about Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback have picked up over the past few days. His fans have been excited ever since it was reported that he would be starring in a Hindi movie after eight years alongside actress Vaani Kapoor. With his mystery drama Barzakh already playing on Zee5, Fawad’s big-screen comback has become even more hyped.

In an earlier report, Filmfare confirmed that Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor are collaborating on a movie that will mark the former’s comeback to the Hindi film industry. He was last seen in 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Now, the portal has disclosed details about Fawad’s character. According to reports, he will be playing a chef based in the UK.
Aarti Bagdi will reportedly direct Fawaf’s comeback Bollywood film and it will be shot on a start-to-finish schedule in London and Dubai. The pre-production of the project has apparently been locked in, and the cameras will begin rolling very soon. Meanwhile, details about Vaani’s role are still under wraps.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Fawad Khan was asked if he was still in contact with people from the industry and the actor responded with “I’m in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe (We sometimes talk on chat) and on the phone, so I’ve been in touch. I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family, and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun, so dostiyaan (friendships) hai.”
The actor is currently basking in the glory of praise for his show Barzakh, which is being loved for the story as well as the performances. It seems to be the time of comebacks for Khan as Barzakh too sees his pair up with Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed and the comeback of this pair has been widely appreciated.
