The popular Farm Business Update meetings are returning in 2025, offering insights from expert speakers and the opportunity to network with fellow farmers.
Sessions run from 9.30am to 12.45pm, followed by a free lunch.
This year’s events include a new crop of Nuffield Scholar guest speakers, covering a range of study findings and personal career stories.
Other presentations will include Richard Wordsworth, the National Farmers’ Union’s (NFU’s) senior adviser for support schemes, on Defra’s agricultural transition plan, the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) on the rural policy landscape under the new Labour government, and FWAG (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group) exploring how to maximise opportunities from agri-environment schemes.
There will also be water quality updates from water companies, while the Environment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming will be on hand to speak to farmers, along with other supporting organisations.
