Tuesday’s Euro 2024 Betting Tips
Groups C and D reach their conclusion at Euro 2024 on Tuesday with plenty still to be decided in the shake-up for the last-16
Of the eight sides in action, only Poland are out of the running to reach the knockout stage in Group D, where only a point separates the remaining three sides, Netherlands, France and Austria.
In Group C, England are top on four points ahead of a clash with Slovenia. The Panel have taken an in-depth look at UK betting sites and their odds for the England game, while focusing efforts on Tuesday’s three other matches for this article.
A treble of The Panel’s best Euros bets for Tuesday’s other games pays out at 17/2 with BoyleSports as we kick off our look at the fixtures with the tournament favourites.
France Vs Poland Prediction
(BBC1, 5pm)
Solid but unspectacular has been the theme of France’s first two games at Euro 2024. They’ve managed to keep opponents Netherlands and Austria at arms’ length but failed to sparkle in attack.
The absence of Kylian Mbappe due to a broken nose for the goalless draw with the Dutch didn’t help matters and his status for the fixture against Poland is unclear.
Whether Les Bleus’ captain plays or not, France have enough quality to see off the Poles and potentially claim top spot in the section.
Poland are playing for pride after being eliminated by last Friday’s 3-1 defeat to Austria and they too have fitness concerns over their talisman, Robert Lewandowski, who is nursing a thigh issue.
Mbappe and Lewandowski contributed three of the four goals scored in France’s 3-1 win over Poland in the last-16 at the World Cup, a game the French dominated from start to finish.
France should demonstrate their class once more, even though they don’t have a good record in their final group games at major tournaments, failing to win any since the 2006 World Cup.
With France coach Didier Deschamps placing a greater emphasis on defence, expect another performance with the handbrake on.
Poland have struggled late on in games at these finals and The Panel’s expectation is for France to eventually wear down their opponents and claim a routine victory.

Netherlands Vs Austria Prediction
(5pm, BBC Two)
Austria had their supporters in the betting community heading into the tournament and they haven’t disappointed their backers, putting themselves in a great position to qualify for the last 16 ahead of this clash with Netherlands.
Given the track record for sides reaching the knockouts on four points, Austria’s win over Poland leaves them potentially only needing a draw to qualify.
A point would be enough to see the Dutch advance too, although the prices on betting apps suggest bookies expect them to win outright in Berlin.
Oranje’s recent record is certainly impressive, winning seven of the last nine internationals and conceding one goal in five games. However, performances on the pitch have left a lot to be desired with plenty of key players looking out of sorts.
On the other hand, Austria have passed the eye test in their two Euros outings and Ralf Rangnick’s high-energy side are liable to make life uncomfortable for the Dutch.
The Austrians are less likely to sit back and play for a draw so make greater appeal for this fixture as underdogs to pull off the upset.
The Panel like the 6/4 available on BetMGM for Austria draw no bet, with stakes returned if the match ends all square.

Denmark Vs Serbia Prediction
(8pm, ITV4)
Denmark were the happier of the two teams following their 1-1 draw with England last time out, but a second consecutive draw at Euro 2024 leaves them needing to beat Serbia to reach the last 16.
The Serbs are in the same boat, entering the final round of group games on one point after a 1-1 draw with Slovenia and a defeat to England.
For all the attacking talent Serbia have, they’ve found it tough to open up the opposition. Their 1.8 expected goals is the fifth worst figure in the tournament, while only Scotland (2) have created fewer bigger chances than Dragan Stojkovic’s men.
They won’t get much change from a disciplined Denmark defence that ranks in the top-10 for expected goals against at the Euros.
The Danes have looked a little better going forward than Serbia but have hardly been free-flowing and this could be a cagey encounter in Munich, despite both teams needing a win.
Under 2.5 goals has landed in all four of these side’s games at the Euros and the even-money on offer on several football betting sites for this clash to feature fewer than three goals appeals to The Panel.
