Budget airline easyJet has unveiled 60 additional routes across its European network for the winter 2024-25 season with more than half of them being new services from the UK.
The carrier’s winter schedule features 33 new routes from 11 UK airports, including the introduction of flights to Tromso in Norway and the French city of Strasbourg for the first time.
EasyJet will operate twice-weekly services to Tromso from London Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester airports from November and December, while a year-round route will operate between Gatwick and Strasbourg three times per week from 11 November.
Other additions include new easyJet flights from London Luton to Athens and Basel, both starting on 7 November.
The airline’s new base at Birmingham will also be boosted by the introduction of five new routes this winter to Prague, Marrakech, Krakow, Reykjavik and Innsbruck in Austria.
Bristol airport will benefit from new year-round routes to Agadir in Morocco, launching on 27 October, and Istanbul from 4 November.
EasyJet is also adding five year-round routes from Liverpool to Prague, Marrakech, Malta, Berlin and Fuerteventura. Among the extra routes from Newcastle is a year-round service to Paris, launching from 27 October with six flights per week.
While in Scotland, the carrier is introducing four new routes from Glasgow, including year-round flights to Prague and a seasonal service to Marrakech. There will also be a new route between Edinburgh and Agadir this winter.
In Northern Ireland, EasyJet will launch flights from Belfast International to Marrakech and Prague from early November.
