The company was recognised at fitness awards which saw industry leaders from across the UK come together to celebrate achievements from the last 12 months.

DLL was highly commended twice, firstly for their innovation at Club Rhyl with the 360 fitness studio, and secondly for their ‘March the Month’ marketing campaign for Prostate Cancer.

Jamie Groves, Managing Director of DLL, said:

“It was a huge honour to be recognised nationally on this scale. Just to be shortlisted was a huge achievement for such a prestigious awards ceremony. The whole DLL team put their heart and soul into their work and it’s fantastic that we’ve been recognised for our outstanding work. This recognition has given the whole company a boost, ensuring we continue to buck the trend nationally in every area of the business.”

DLL was shortlisted for six awards including regional club of the year with Club Rhyl; organisation innovation award for the launch of Studio 360; marketing campaign award for work on prostate cancer this year; the healthy communities award and both the Executive team and Jamie Groves up for leadership awards. DLL were also put forward by the judges for the leisure organisation of the year.

Jamie added:

“It’s fantastic to see a Denbighshire company being acknowledged nationally for all the hard work throughout the business, and we’re thrilled to have been nominated for six different awards, which endorses a strong well rounded company at every level. As a company, it’s our values, dedication and quality that makes us stand out, and it’s fantastic to see us being recognised for these. It is always more than just a job to our workforce who always go the extra mile.”
