I’m A Celebrity winner Danny Jones’ net worth is in the seven-figure range after raking in the cast in McFly and other TV appearances.
The 38-year-old’s bank balance will likely only increase after being named king of the jungle beating runner-up Coleen Rooney on the ITV show.
While the father-of-one has not divulged how much he’s worth, his fortune was previously estimated at £2,000,000 to £4,000,000 by the Express.
This would have been topped up by his fee for I’m A Celebrity which is thought to be around £100,000 to £150,000 according to reports.
Danny’s popularity means he could also add to his net worth significantly in the next 12 months, brand and culture expert Nick Ede predicted.
He told the Daily Mail: ‘McFly star Danny Jones could also expect to increase his earnings by £1.5million over the coming year.
‘I can see him being offered advertising deals and personal appearance fees as well as hosting jobs too.’
Does the winner of I’m A Celebrity win a cash prize?
No, the winner of I’m A Celebrity does not win a cash prize as they are paid a flat fee for competing on the show.
The amount they recieve does not change if they win the show or are eliminated but they must remain in the jungle for 72 hours to earn the full amount.
Salaries of the I’m A Celebrity cast vary, with Coleen reportedly being the highest earning campmate ever on at least £1.5m.
How Danny Jones earned his fortune
Danny started amassing his fortune as part of McFly in 2004, after meeting Tom Fletcher at an audition for a different boyband and deciding to get together and write some songs.
Their debut single, 5 Colours in Her Hair, released 29 March 2004, entered the UK Singles Chart at number 1 in April 2004, followed by their next single and first album also doing the same.
They are known as the the youngest band ever to have an album debut at number one – a title taken from The Beatles – and also won a Brit Award in 2005 for best pop act.
As a member of McFly, Jones has appeared alongside Lindsay Lohan in the film Just My Luck, and been on numerous world tours.
In 2013, the band joined forced with Busted to form a super-group – McBusted. They played a 34-date tour with both Busted and McFly songs, with every member of both bands present except Charlie of Busted.
More recently, they released their seventh studio album last year, Power to Play, and went on an accompanying tour around the UK and Ireland. In 2025, the will once again tour with Busted on the Busted vs McFly tour.
Danny also pursued being a solo artist, releasing his debut single Is This Still Love in 2018. He released a further five singles from his debut EP, titled EP.
Outside of music, Danny has forged a career on TV, with his major role a judge on The Voice Kids UK from 2017 until 2023.
Earlier this year, he also competed in The Masked Singer and won as ‘Piranha.’
His other TV credits include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice and game show 8 out of 10 cats.
In 2010 he also appeared on talent show Popstar to Opera Star, but was eliminated in the fourth week.
