A woman has been stabbed by a man at a popular gym, before she was rushed to hospital with wounds to her head, neck, and back.
NSW Police were called to Crunch Fitness Alexandria, in Sydney‘s south, at about 12.30pm on Wednesday after a man – believed to be in his 40s – had allegedly stabbed a 39-year-old woman.

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before she was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred hospital in a stable condition, with wounds covering her entire body.
Officers have set up a crime scene near the gym and are investigating the incident.
Witnesses said they saw a man attacking a woman in a car park before he fled in a small vehicle.
One said: ‘She had blood all over. She was in her gym clothes and had a jacket on,’ he said.
‘There was heaps of police and they were investigating what happened.’
