Cornwall Marine Network won the Coastal Powerhouse accolade at the Maritime UK 2024 Awards.

‘Coastal Powerhouse’ is Maritime UK’s most prestigious award and given to one company each year that has had a major impact on improving the economy in their local region.

The Award celebrates maritime businesses, charities, organisations, or groups of any size, who demonstrate exceptional leadership as catalysts for economic growth within their local communities.

The ceremony was held at the Titanic Museum in Belfast, with maritime businesses, personnel, industry colleagues and Government partners congregating to celebrate the best of the UK’s Maritime sector.

CEO Paul Wickes said: “CMN was picked as this year’s Maritime UK Coastal Powerhouse winner for our exemplary track record of creating 4,600 new jobs with our members in the last 20 years.

“No other maritime business support organisation in the UK or across Europe has ever created new jobs in a local region on the scale of CMN, it is a unique achievement and I am very proud of what Team CMN and our members have achieved, together we are the best of the best.”
