The final three contestants left standing in Celebrity MasterChef 2024 have been confirmed, as one more star was eliminated in last night’s episode (19th September).

After H from Steps was knocked out of the competition earlier in the week, the four contestants who started the penultimate episode were Strictly’s Vito Coppola, Line of Duty’s Rochenda Sandall, Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, TV host Craig Doyle.

However, only the lucky ones who made it through the first task were rewarded with the opportunity of a lifetime – Chef’s Table.

To prove their worth, they needed to deliver a dish inspired by someone special – a dish full of emotion that sets the taste buds alight.

While judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace liked Harry’s apple and plum oat crumble, with baked meringue and vanilla custard, they found that it had too many elements that didn’t really belong together.

Meanwhile, Craig made a big mistake by accidentally putting salt on his tart rather than sugar.

However, after John and Gregg had sampled everyone’s efforts, they decided that time was up for Harry, much to Craig’s surprise.

Athlete Harry said: “I’ve got to be proud of myself. I came into this competition with no expectation. I just wanted to do the best I could possibly do, and I think I’ve done that.

“And I’ve learnt so much. It’s been out of this world.”

This Morning’s Craig admitted: “I’d made peace with going home. I’d booked golf, in fact. I’m really proud to be here. It gets in on your soul, man. It’s unbelievable.”

“I feel like it’s a dream,” Vito enthused.

Rochenda said: “I am buzzing.”

Next, the final three headed to the five-star Coworth Park Hotel in Berkshire, home to the Michelin-starred restaurant Woven, where they worked under the guidance of one of the country’s most innovative chefs, Adam Smith.

As if that wasn’t pressure enough, there was an illustrious guest list of diners to impress: six gastronomic trailblazers including Aktar Islam, Anna Haugh and Frederick Forster.

And so, Vito, Craig and Rochenda have one more episode until the winner is crowned. Who will emerge victorious? Find out when the series concludes tonight, Friday 20th September, at 9pm on BBC One.
