Bosses said it is with a “heavy heart” that they announce the Alltrade Bournemouth closure and said it’s a decision not made lightly.
They said in a statement that it is due to a 50 per cent increase in rent and the “additional financial pressures” placed on businesses following the latest UK budget.
The statement added: “We want to assure you that, despite the trade counter closure, we remain fully committed to supporting you and your business needs.
“Dom and I will continue to be part of the Alltrade team and will be available to assist you with any queries or requirements by phone or email.
“Our contact numbers and email remain the same.
“Our own van delivery service will remain supported by another Alltrade branch. but with an updated delivery schedule effective Thursday 2 January 2025.”
It added: “We value your loyalty and partnership immensely and are determined to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible for you.
“Please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or Dom directly if you have any concerns or questions regarding your account, deliveries, or future orders.
“While this marks the end of our physical presence in Bournemouth, we remain steadfast in our commitment to serving you with the same dedication and efficiency you’ve come to expect from Alltrade.
“Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time. Your continued support means everything to us, and we look forward to working with you as we navigate this new chapter together.”
