Creative & Licensing Manager (Parental Cover)
Join BMG Production Music as a Creative & Licensing Manager, where you will be responsible for the development of new business as well as nurturing and maintaining existing relationships with our key TV/Film partners, providing creative searches and supporting various marketing activities and initiatives. You will be expected to attend meetings with key and new business accounts, collaborating with BMG’s b2b departments: sync, bespoke and admin; pitching the catalogue to be licensed for moving media.
This is a 7 month FTC covering parental leave, starting in November.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management for TV/film accounts:
- Maintain a healthy relationship with clients, prioritising key accounts and organising regular client meetings, both regional and local.
- Regularly seek new business opportunities.
- Keep up to date with clients production slate and new commissions
- Deliver regular reporting about progress made
- Collaborate with other B2B teams – sync, admin, bespoke.
Manage budget spend on key clients:
- Contributing to marketing ideas/events/ways to engage clients.
Creative:
- Provide timely & accurate music searches for client music briefs.
- Actively forward pitch for new leads.
Wider deals:
- Regularly seek possible new deal opportunities – blankets, admin, JV, etc.
Industry events:
- Seeking out and attending new and existing industry and networking events.
- Remain up to date with industry news and updates
CRM:
- Develop, organise and maintain our CRM database, efficiently managing client lists.
Your Profile
- Experience working in sync and / or production within the music industry.
- Knowledge of MAC & PC functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily build relationships with others and an impeccable phone manner.
- Approachable, personable and articulate.
- Musical knowledge.
- Proven track record of bringing in new business.
- Enthusiastic and creative, keen to contribute ideas.
- Self-motivator and avid team player.
- Organised with excellent eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritise with several deadlines.
It’s a plus (not a must) if you also have experience working with our clients on the production side who include major broadcasters, ad agencies, and TV production companies, and/or experience working within the TV media industry.

Pay Range:
£35,000 – £40,000 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits as listed above.
