Gunners can extend the gap

Arsenal went top of the Premier League at the weekend with a 2-0 win at Wolves but Manchester City have a game in hand over the Gunners.

The Light Blues were not in top-flight action as they beat Chelsea 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-final.

That match ended the west Londoners’ eight-game unbeaten run, which was bookended by a 1-0 loss to Liverpool in the EFL Cup final.

The Blues are clearly still a work in progress and are a level below the title contenders, so Arsenal should be confident of picking up all three points.

What Chelsea should bring is goals as the matches in that eight-fixture unbeaten run averaged over five goals each.

Arsenal have scored at least twice in 13 of their 16 Premier League games at the Emirates, so over 2.5 today seems a safe bet.

Mudryk can fire at Gunners

With Cole Palmer likely to miss out tonight through illness, Mykhailo Mudryk becomes an attractive shot-on-target selection.

The 23-year-old almost signed for Arsenal in January last year before making an £80m switch to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk – and it is fair to say he has not lived up to that price tag.

Mudryk has scored just six goals and registered four assists in 52 games for the Blues but has shown he can at least get a shot on target in recent weeks.

The Ukrainian has had four shots on target in his previous six Premier League appearances, with those goal attempts coming every 72 minutes on average.

He also had one in the previous meeting between these two sides earlier this season.

Booking for Havertz in bet builder

As we are expecting goals at the Emirates, both teams to score should land.

Chelsea have netted in their past 15 Premier League games, and we have already noted the Gunners’ impressive home record.

The second part of our bet builder is for Arsenal to have over six corners.

The Gunners average seven per game in the Premier League and won that many when these two sides met at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season.

It is also a selection that would have landed for Chelsea’s opponents in their previous three games.

The final part of our bet builder is for Kai Havertz to be carded when he comes up against the side with whom he won the Champions League.

The German has had 12 cautions this term across all competitions including five in his last seven appearances at the Emirates.

With Havertz up against his former club, tensions are likely to rise – and adding him to be booked creates real value in our bet builder.

Arsenal vs Chelsea tip 3: Bet builder: both teams to score, 6+ Arsenal corners and Kai Havertz to be carded @ 10/1 with Sky Bet
