Ok, we need to say it: we’re obsessed with this series of Married at First Sight UK. The reality series sees couples paired together, by a group of experts, and meet for the first time at the end of the aisle on their wedding day. Yep, the first time they meet their future spouse is on the big day, and while one couple seem pretty loved up so far (looking at you Kristina and Kieran) it’s still TBD if the rest of the couples are feeling each other. And one couple who are still very undecided on each other are Caspar and Emma, but are they still together? Well here’s what you need to know.
Are Emma and Caspar still together?
31-year-old Emma and 34-year-old Caspar were the second couple to get married on this year’s Married at First Sight UK.
Before meeting it seemed like they were going to be a good match, as they seemed to share similar values and wanted to live a similar lifestyle.
On the wedding day, while Emma was very happy with her match, Caspar was less impressed and thought Emma reminded him of his twin sister, who he said he doesn’t have the best relationship with.
During the wedding day, he also told his mother and sister he didn’t have the physical attraction and spark to Emma he was hoping to get with his new wife.
The pair then headed on a honeymoon to Jamaica, where things went from bad to worse. Caspar told Emma he wasn’t attracted to her, and had rarely “gone for the curvier person” while previously dating and Emma gave an iconic speech where she told him he needed to work on his view of women.
They then had an argument on the beach, with Emma revealing how hurt she was by Caspar’s previous comments, which resulted in Caspar storming off from the beach and asking to stop filming.
However, things got slightly better the last time we saw Caspar and Emma with the pair agreeing to work on their marriage and building their attraction to each other when they return home from honeymoon.
Right now we’re still in the early stages of the experiment so it’s not 100 per cent clear if Emma and Caspar are still together. However, the pair do follow each other on Instagram, so that’s a sign things are at least amicable between them.
