Experienced hire joins from Ecclesiastical
Allianz Commercial has named Faith Kitchen (pictured) as head of client relationship management for the mid-market sector.
Kitchen moves to Allianz from Ecclesiastical, where she most recently served as customer segment director. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 16 years occupying various underwriting, product design, and client relationship management positions at Zurich
In her new role, Kitchen will focus on enhancing Allianz’s central operations for managing mid-market cases. This includes collaborating closely with the teams handling large corporate accounts to improve and deliver “client-led risk-managed solutions.”
Nick Hobbs, chief distribution officer at Allianz Commercial, commented on the appointment and said it reflects the company’s commitment to “developing and expanding our client relationship management capability, in all dimensions.”
Hobbs went on to state that the appointment is intended to support Allianz’s “plans to grow the business and become the clear leader in the mid-market and upper mid-market segments.”
David Carey, managing director for the mid-market at Allianz Commercial, also offered a statement on Kitchen’s appointment.
“We are delighted to welcome Faith to Allianz,” he said. “She brings with her a wealth of experience and I’m looking forward to working closely with her and our senior team to accelerate our proposition and its delivery into the market.”
Ktendis has been with Allianz since 2014 and is now in charge of the digital trading and legal protection businesses. The role had been vacated by Helen Bryant, who left Allianz to pursue other career opportunities.
Elsewhere at Allianz UK, the company announced last month that it has been awarded the Chartered Insurers Status by the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) for the 14th consecutive year.
