Alongside a selfie with the ‘A Team’ singer, Ward enthusiastically called Sheeran an “absolute legend” and “top bloke”, touching on the singer’s journey to the restaurant: “When an absolute legend and top bloke pops in for dinner [Ed Sheeran] unbelievable to meet you brother and thank you for making the epic journey”. The immersive dining journey at Ynyshir begins at £385 per person, with reservations opening up two months prior to the hotly-anticipated dates. Endorsing his gastronomic vision on Visit Wales, Chef Gareth Ward has asserted: “My dream is to make Ynyshir a destination restaurant that people travel to for an experience they can’t have anywhere else. Because this part of the world, this part of Wales, this building – everything about it deserves to be at the highest level and I won’t stop until we get there.”
