THE team at Appetite for Business is celebrating after being named in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024 list alongside household names such as David Lloyds Clubs, Octopus Energy and EasyJet Holidays.
Appetite is the only Scottish Business named as a winner in the small business top ten category and only one of two in Scotland across the category top ten winners list.
The UK wide workplace survey honours and celebrates Britain’s top employers while recognising workplaces that excel in fostering inclusivity and wellbeing for diverse groups such as women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers.
The survey’s 26 questions included topics ranging from empowerment, reward and recognition, job satisfaction and information sharing to wellbeing and instilling pride.
Appetite scores ranked at almost 100% at every level. The overall engagement score for all categories was deemed as ‘excellent’ at 99% and an incredible 25% higher compared to others in the technology industry.
Appetite for Business is an independently owned Microsoft 365 consultancy based in Aberdeen helping organisations to understand how to use Microsoft technology to grow and transform their business.
The firm was founded in 2016 and is led by CEO Sheryl Newman.
The values and culture led company has long been forging the way in modern working practices with a Scotland IS award in 2022 for best digital workplace, a Sunday Time award in 2023 For Best Workplace for Women and BCorp Certification in October 2023.
