Police were called shortly after 6pm
A woman was hit by a car near a busy row of shops. Merseyside Police confirmed officers were called to Central Square in Maghull shortly after 6pm on Saturday, December 28, to reports of a collision.
Officers arrived to find a woman had been hit by a car. She suffered slight injuries, with the road being shut for around an hour. A spokesperson for the force confirmed the road has been reopened and officers remain at the scene following the incident.
A spokesperson said: “We are at an incident on Central Square in Maghull. We were called to the scene at 6.01pm after reports of a woman being hit by a car.
“She suffered slight injuries and the driver remained at the scene. The road has since reopened and we remain at the scene.”
