According to a source close to DeGeneres, they decided to leave the United States once Donald Trump was elected.
Montecito Estate Listed for Sale
According to reports, the couple’s house in Montecito, which is north of Los Angeles, is for sale. They had made the property their main home after buying it in 2019. Whether they intend to sell other homes in Southern California is unknown. The real estate firm in charge of the listing, Riskin Partners, has not responded.

DeGeneres faced public criticism in 2022 over allegations of a toxic workplace environment on her talk show.
