Patrick Borg Hedley

Lufthansa Group has appointed Patrick Borg Hedley as its new general manager of sales for the UK, Ireland and Iceland.

Hedley, who will be based in London, will have responsibility for all commercial and sales activities for Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings in the three European markets.

He takes over from Frank Wagner who had been in the general manager role for three years and has now relocated to Berlin.

Hedley has been working for Lufthansa for more than 25 years and his most recent role was as the group’s general manager sales for Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

He will report into Sven Thaler who was appointed as senior director of sales for Northern Europe covering 11 countries in the region earlier this year.
