New York Jets 17-23 Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings once had such a fearsome defence they were known as the ‘Purple People Eaters’ – well, this defence is not there yet, but they’re pretty good.

They restricted Aaron Rodgers to 244 yards passing, intercepted him three times including for just the fifth pick six of his career.

Rodgers was hit seven times and definitely struggled, and crucially, just when he was looking to win it, that decisive interception sealed the game.

They say defence wins championships, and Minnesota seem to have one that could well do the job.
