Spooky World, based at Apple Jacks Adventure Farm off Stretton Road, has made a top 10 list of the best fright nights and scare events for 2024.

This is according to the team at Spin Genie UK who considered adult ticket prices, location, social media buzz, and online searches for a number of events.

A score for each attraction was determined on the price per adult, the number of Instagram hashtags it has, and the number of Google searches made for it.

Spooky World, known for its Scary at Night event, came tenth on the list.

The price per adult was found to range between £21 and £35.

100 Instagram hashtags were used for Spooky World and 84,920 Google searches were made for it.

In first place was Scream Factory which is located in Redcar, with Scare Kingdom in Blackburn and Thorpe Park Fright Nights in Surrey coming in at joint second.

Scare City in Chorley was named fourth, with Farmaggedon in Ormskirk ranked in fifth place.
