Bodnant Gardens, in Conwy, Wales is one of the best UK gardens you can head to at this time of year.

Named by The Times as one of the top 11 gardens to visit, you won’t be disappointed to see the beautiful greenery on display there.

The gardens are located near the Snowdonia Range, which is an incredible background for Bodnant Gardens.

With an impressive 80 acres across the hillside of North Wales, the garden includes wildflower meadows, water features and Italian-style terraces.

The garden was gradually created more than 150 years ago, with plants collected and brought to Britain from far afield.

With year-round colour, the garden is the perfect place to visit at any time of the year – it is always well kept with its pristine look lasting throughout any season.

In Conwy, there are plenty of other things to do if you’re hoping to take a weekend to explore the area.

Conwy is a town home to the Smallest House in Great Britain, which makes for a unique and fun place to visit.

It is also home to Conwy Castle – another great landmark to see while you’re in the area. The castle is a medieval fortress which still towers over town after 700 years and is famous for being so well preserved.

One visitor on Tripadvisor said: “This place is wonderful – the castle itself is amazing and you can wander all around including climbing the towers, which gives great views of the wall surrounding the city and the city itself.

“It’s a fabulous glimpse of history and we are so happy we included this in our trip.”

Nearby, there are also some of Wales’ best beaches which can be found in Llandudno. Take a visit to Angel Bay, West Shore Beach or Penrhyn Bay Beach, which are around 15 minutes away from Conwy by car.
